Default Implementing SIP on a "cloud" VM server creates licensing challenge.

We would like to implement a SIP-based IVR application on a "cloud" server provided by a third-party data centre. The server is a VMware server - we are to be provided a single VM. The third-party is unable to or unwilling to guarantee a static MAC address and attaching an external NIC is not an option. The MAC address will likely change each time the server is rebooted. This poses a licensing problem as the SIP license is based on the MAC address.

Have you been able to accommodate this configuration before? How? Do you have suggestions on how we might accommodate this configuration without having a guaranteed MAC address?

    Hi Brent,

We would suggest contacting your Pika Sales representative directly regarding ways this can be accommodated.
