    Hi Fabien,

Hopefully I understand the question correctly.

In general yes it is always possible to add or update FreePBX modules like shown in this video. But I know of two exceptions to this. If you upgrade the 'Core' or 'Fax' module you will lose Pika added functionality - specifically GSM configuration screens and some Fax functionality in FreePBX. The reason is that Pika has patched these modules and if upgraded through FreePBX these changes will be lost.

Initially to combat this you will notice that these modules have a very large revision assigned to them in FreePBX 2.7 on Warp to avoid these modules ever being updated. However with FreePBX 2.8 upgrading these modules are again possible (including with the 'Update all' option) and if updated will cause problems.

I think what is needed is Pika patches for the 2.8 FreePBX 'Core' and 'Fax' modules.

    Hopefully this makes sense?

    Hi Fabien,

This should be done using the same sequence as on a PC FreePBX installation.
