Setting the correct time and date on the Warp.
We have been having issues setting the correct time and date on the Warp using FreePBX and/or logging in the Warp as “root” using PuTTY. There is no change to the time/date when we use FreePBX (date always 1970, time always starts at 1200). Although the time/date is correct for some functions when set via “root” using PuTTY, all reports/logs run via FreePBX are wrong (date always 1970, time always starts at 1200). Is this an issue with FreePBX implementation on the Warp?

How do you deleting old reports/logs from FreePBX?

Can’t install Music on hold module.
We have been unable to use the music on hold function on the Warp. When we try to add recorded music using FreePBX we get a popup screen telling us “Cannot write to file ()”. We saw that the music on hold module had an update available so we tried to update the music on hold module. When we try to update this module we get a popup “Cannot write to file ()” install the FreePBX music on hold module on our Warp. Any suggestions?

Check your DNS on the Warp. Can you resolve ntp.pool.org. ?



How do you deleting old reports/logs from FreePBX?

For the filesystem, you need to SSH to the Warp and delete them. If the database, you will need to manually drop them using a mysql client.

This is a FreePBX bug, you need to upgrade to version 2.7.0.4or greater.

chown asterisk:asterisk /etc/asterisk/musiconhold_additional.conf

that will solve the problem, it's a permission issue

I think on each boot the permissions of the musiconhold_additional.conf file will be over-written and reset. The more static solution is to perform the chown just after the 'sed' lines in the '/persistent/autorun/S65freepbx' file. This script file operates as 'root' on startup and changes the permissions of some files - musiconhold_additional.conf included.
