BRI intern and extern

Hello,

I try to establish the following configuration:

Telco - BRI_1_0 - PIKA - BRI_1_1 - ISDN-DECT-PBX - DECT-Handsets

Each DECT-Handset is configured to listen to [ExtensionNumber] as MSN.

In FreePBX I added corresponding Custom extensions with the following dial string:



PIKA/digital/g2/3/[ExtensionNumber]Futhermore I added SIP-Extensions.

In /etc/asterisk/pika.conf I only changed for
BRI_1_1 context=from-internalIn /etc/pika/pikagp_aoh.cfg I have:

I can make calls between the different extensions and from each extension to the outside world.

The bad news:
Sometimes I get no ring tone when calling.

DECT-Handset - DECT-Handset: No ring tone
DECT-Handset - Telco - Analogline: Ring tone
DECT-Handset - Telco - GSM-Phone: Ring tone
DECT-Handset - Telco - ISDN-Phone: No ring tone
DECT-Handset - SIP-Phone: No ring tone (corrected)
SIP-Phone - all: Ring tone

Anybody any idea how to resolve this issue?

Hi Horst,

I suspect the Pika Warp will not generate local ringback on ISDN messaging - CALLPROC.

I would recommend generating comfort ringback yourself in these scenarios. To do so in the 'from-internal' context I would recommend manually adding the 'Playtones(ring)' rule before outdialing. You can see if this works but one obvious consequence will be the possible scenario of receiving ringback and then busy.

I suspect the analog & GSM works because the ringback is provided inband by the far end which is why this is ok.

Just a thought.
